Base Details
This Town Hall 15 War Base is built for high-stakes War and Clan War League defense, with its layout focused on forcing attackers through the Clan Castle and protecting its highest-value compartments. The Town Hall and Eagle Artillery are separated, while the Clan Castle and Tesla farm sit centrally. A Hero Hunter Crafted Defense supports the Town Hall, and the Monolith is isolated on its own island. External wall pieces are also used to disrupt Archer Queen positioning and reduce Giant Arrow value. The design is specifically presented for War defense.
Why This Base Works
The central Clan Castle and Tesla farm are designed so attackers trigger defending CC troops regardless of their entry angle before reaching a major objective. Separating the Town Hall and Eagle Artillery prevents one push from securing both high-value targets at once. Both major compartments are supported by defending Heroes, Infernos, and X-Bows, while the Town Hall has a Hero Hunter directly beside it to pressure hero-based entries. Heavy trap clusters around the important compartments are intended to punish Royal Champion charges. The isolated Monolith is the key structural feature: attackers cannot remove it with a simple funnel or early hero charge and must commit a larger part of the army before opening a path to it. External wall pieces additionally interfere with Queen positioning for Giant Arrow setups.
Strengths
- Forced Clan Castle trigger: The central Clan Castle and Tesla farm make it difficult to approach a major objective without dealing with the defending troops first.
- Strong against Royal Champion charges: The Town Hall and other high-value compartments are surrounded by heavy trap clusters specifically intended to drain the Royal Champion quickly.
- Isolated Monolith: The island compartment prevents an early hero charge or simple funnel from removing the Monolith, forcing deeper army commitment.
- Giant Arrow disruption: The unusual outer wall pieces interfere with Queen positioning and can turn a planned multi-defense Giant Arrow line into a missed shot.
- Sustained defensive pressure: Builder Huts beside core defenses provide regeneration during extended pushes, while high-HP Storages in front of perimeter defenses slow incoming troops.
Weaknesses
- Monolith requires intentional protection elsewhere: Because the Monolith is isolated, its value depends on the surrounding compartments remaining intact; once an attacker commits enough of the main army to open the route, the island is no longer protected by the same pathing barrier. This is a reasonable structural limitation, not a weakness explicitly stated by the creator.
- Hero-focused entries are still the main pressure point: Royal Champion and hero can pushes around the Town Hall, so an attacker who successfully manages those traps and defensive pressure remains the clearest route into the core. This is an inference from the layout rather than an explicit creator claim.
Recommended Defending CC Troops
- Option 1: 1 Ice Golems + 2 Super Minions + remaining space with a small support troop
- Option 2: Lava Hound + supporting high-DPS air troops
- Option 3: Super Dragons or a heavy Dragon-based defensive mix
Summary
Use this base for War or CWL when the goal is to make attackers commit heavily before they can reach the Monolith or other high-value compartments. Its main defensive idea is forced engagement: central CC pressure, separated major objectives, trap-heavy hero zones, and an isolated Monolith work together to disrupt clean attack paths.
